Melanin Libertea was founded on October 1st, 2020. We are a Black Owned Tea Company that specialize in Handcrafted USDA Certified Organic Tea Blends. We have tea blends that promotes healing and to support your body overall wellness. Our teas can help your body fight against cold and flu, restlessness and even help increase your sexual libido. Our name, “Melanin Libertea" , have a very simple but significant meaning. Melanin Libertea means that we demand Justice and Liberty for all Black people! We also named our tea blends as a tribute and homage to our black culture and those who have lost their lives to the racist system here in America.

Because of COVID-19, we will not accept any products for exchange at this time. However, if you are unsatisfied with the product, we will give you a store credit.

How much loose tea should I steep?
The industry standard is one teaspoon of loose tea per 8 ounces. So if you're looking to steep a twelve-ounce cup of tea – look to steep approximately 1 1/2 teaspoons of loose tea.
How come some tins and bags are fuller than others?
Because of the density of tea, some bags may seem to have more tea than others; however, all our teas are carefully measured before they're sealed and shipped.
